#MusicMondays | Bring It On Home

Ever since I can remember- I’ve always loved good music. Thanks to my grandparents and many family members, music has been a huge part of my life. I would listen to a little bit of everything ranging from Dolly Parton to Marvin Sease. I especially loved “old school” tunes sung by some of the late greats like Sam Cooke. My grandfather owns one of his “Greatest Hits” albums and I’m pretty surprised that it still plays. I have listened to that record thousands of times over the years. With a total of 22 classic melodies, it’s like fine wine to me: it only gets better with age.

As I’ve mentioned before, I’m building myself a simple-yet effective home studio. I have aspirations that spread far beyond WordPress and YouTube; so slowly but surely I am investing in myself these days. I have been uploading my throwback covers to kind of get you all pumped for what’s to come.

I hope you all can get past the imperfections of this week’s upload to enjoy one of Cooke’s best songs. Check out my rendition of “Bring It On Home” at Life With Khelaire. Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe!
